Belacan Fried Chicken Recipe: Half chicken cut into small pieces, 1 cube nam yu, 1 cube belacan, 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1/2 tbsp sugar, 1 egg whites, Mixed flour (2tbsp corn starch + 1tbsp rice flour), Oil for frying. 1. Dry toast belacan till it become powder. Let it cool down. 2. Marinate chicken with namyu, belacan powder, fish sauce, sugar, and lightly beaten egg white for 1 hour or overnight. 3. Coat chicken with mixed flour. 4. Deep fry on high heat for 15-20mins till chicken is golden brown. 5. Rest 5mins on rack before plating. Enjoy ~
