Wholemeal Milk Bread 全麥土司麵包|Apron. Whole Wheat Bread Recipe. Makes one 9x5 loaf bread. Bakes @ 375 until internal temperature reaches 190F degrees. and its golden brown (25-27min). 1st proof: 45-50 min (doubled in size). 2nd proof: 1:00 hour -1hour :10min (doubled in size). 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast, Pinch of brown sugar, 1/2 cup warm water (105-110F degrees), 3/4 cup buttermilk (room temperature), 1/8 cup honey, 1/8 cup of vegetable oil, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour (14% protein), 2 cups all purpose flour. NOTES: * To make your own buttermilk: Measure out 3/4 cup of room temperature whole milk minus 2 tsp. Then add 2 tsp of white vinegar or lemon juice and whisk. It will start to curdle. *If bread is browning too much you can place a piece of foil paper over it. Do not wrap the bread. You can lay the foil on the rack right above the bread.
Easy white bread recipe: White bread recipe Oven temperature: 375F degrees. Bake time: 22-25 min or until golden brown (internal temperature of 190F). Water milk temperature for yeast: 105F-110F. One 9x5 loaf pan. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1.Mix and knead on medium low speed only. 2. If dough is still sticking after one minute of kneading, add additional flour one TBSP at a time until the right consistency is achieved. It should feel lightly sticky when pressed and smooth. 3. Dough should proof just until doubled in size both times. 1/8 of cup warm water (28g), 1 cup of warm milk (226g), 2 tsp active dry yeast (7g), 1 TBSP sugar + a pinch (12g + a pinch), 1 TBSP unsalted butter, melted (13g), 2 TBSP softened room temperature unsalted butter (30g), 1 1/2 tsp salt (8g), 2 1/4 cup All purpose flour + 3 TBS (359g) Spray for greasing bowl & plastic wrap. Important: If your bread is not golden brown and has not reached an internal temperature of 190F degrees. Let it bake longer. The time the bread bakes may vary depending on your oven.
